Beyond retrieval: FORHU’s beta-stage iloveLawyer pairs its Structured Cognitive Loop with internally developed RAG so that a single new deposition can update the timeline, witness analysis, contradiction matrix and legal-element assessment at once.
United States, 18th Aug 2026 - FORHU Inc. is developing iloveLawyer, a beta-stage Legal Intelligence Terminal built on the company’s proprietary Structured Cognitive Loop (SCL) architecture together with internally developed next-generation RAG technology. Where traditional retrieval returns relevant documents but does not preserve how those documents affect the structure of a case, FORHU’s approach connects retrieved information to claims, witnesses, legal elements and contradictions, while SCL maintains that information as a persistent reasoning state. The terminal is designed around synchronized views of evidence, timelines, witness consistency, legal elements, contradictions, missing evidence, strategy and reasoning audit trails, each operating on the same underlying case state. Broader introduction is planned by the end of 2026.
NEW YORK, August 13, 2026 — FORHU Inc. is developing a new type of legal AI designed to move beyond search, summarization and chatbot-style question answering.
Its beta-stage platform, iloveLawyer, is being built as a Legal Intelligence Terminal using FORHU’s proprietary Structured Cognitive Loop (SCL) architecture together with internally developed next-generation RAG technology.
The technical idea is simple: a legal case is not a single question. It is a network of evidence, witnesses, timelines, legal elements, contradictions and competing interpretations.
Traditional RAG systems are effective at retrieving relevant documents, but retrieval alone does not preserve how those documents affect the structure of an entire case. FORHU’s RAG approach is designed to connect retrieved information to claims, witnesses, legal elements and contradictions, while SCL maintains that information as a persistent reasoning state.
This allows the system to support functions such as evidence-to-claim mapping, contradiction detection, legal-element analysis, competing hypotheses and traceable reasoning.
A newly added deposition, for example, could update the timeline, witness analysis, contradiction matrix and legal-element assessment at the same time.
“Legal AI should not simply retrieve an answer and forget the case,” said Jun Shin, CEO of FORHU. “Every new fact can change the structure of the entire matter. That is why persistent state and verification are central to SCL.”
FORHU believes the legal AI market is entering a new phase.
The first generation focused largely on research, drafting and summarization. The next generation is expected to focus on continuous case intelligence: systems that maintain and recompute the state of a matter as new information arrives.
The iloveLawyer terminal is therefore being designed around synchronized views of:
- Evidence and claims
- Case timelines
- Witness consistency
- Legal elements
- Contradictions
- Missing evidence
- Strategy
- Reasoning audit trails
Each view is intended to operate on the same underlying case state rather than as a separate AI conversation.
“The market is moving from generative AI to accountable intelligence,” Shin said. “The winning legal AI will not simply produce fluent answers. It will show lawyers why an answer was reached and allow them to verify it.”
FORHU has published research related to its SCL architecture through forhu.ai and presented its accountable AI approach at VivaTech 2026 in Paris, including systems designed with increasingly regulated environments such as the EU AI Act in mind.
The company sees law as an ideal proving ground because legal work combines complex data, conflicting narratives and strict accountability.
The iloveLawyer Legal Intelligence Terminal remains in beta development and is planned for broader introduction by the end of 2026.
FORHU’s core thesis is that the next generation of legal AI will not be defined by a better chatbot.
It will be defined by a system that can continuously understand and compute the entire case.
